Finance Director - Financial Services
Our client is a fast-growing Financial Services firm based in Dublin.
They have a domestic and global focus and their growth has been a mixture of organic growth and acquisitions.
The Day to Day:
Oversee, manage and deliver upon all daily operational finance aspects of the business with particular attention to all regulatory reporting duties.
Partner with the CEO and CFO to develop and execute long-term financial strategies and business plans.
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts to guide decision-making.
Prepare monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and KPIs for the Board and stakeholders.
Identify financial risks and implement robust internal controls and audit procedures.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Ensure the organisation adheres to all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial institutions.
Periodic work across any and all new acquisitions.
You:
The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services background, ideally from Insurance.
You will have gained at least 10 years of post-qualified experience.
The opportunity is a big one as this role will act as a spring board to further C-suite opportunities within the broader group and business.
The role is quite hands-on in nature and will suit a candidate who is down to earth with strong communication skills.
