Project Manager – Energy MarketsWe're recruiting for aProject Managerto support the delivery of large-scale regulatory, market, and system services programmes within the electricity sector.This is a high-impact role within theFuture Power Marketslandscape, offering exposure to complex market reform, system services development, and infrastructure-enabling initiatives in a highly regulated environment.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will support and lead the delivery of key programmes that underpin the evolution of Ireland's electricity market.Key responsibilities include:Managing projects across Future Power Markets workstreams, including Scheduling & Dispatch, FASS, DASSA, SEMOpx developments, and long-duration energy storageTranslating regulatory and market requirements into clear, structured project plansEnsuring timely delivery of market and system services changes supporting commercial, trading, compliance, and operational objectivesOwning project governance artefacts, including project plans, risk registers, RAID logs, dashboards, and senior stakeholder reportingProactively identifying, managing, and escalating risks and issues to support informed decision-makingSupporting procurement activities, including RFT preparation, tender evaluations, and contract negotiationsLeading business readiness activities such as testing, training coordination, communications, and cutover planningCollaborating cross-functionally with Trading, Operations, Technology, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, and other internal stakeholdersContributing to continuous improvement across programme governance, reporting, and delivery performanceAbout YouYou are a delivery-focused Project Manager with experience operating in regulated, technical, or market-driven environments.You will ideally have:A third-level degree (minimum 2:1) in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Energy Systems, or a related discipline2+ years' experience in project management, project coordination, or business change rolesExperience within energy, utilities, or other regulated sectorsStrong project management skills, including planning, risk and issue management, governance reporting, and stakeholder engagementKnowledge of the Single Electricity Market (SEM), including SEMOpx and scheduling & dispatch processesUnderstanding of EirGrid's Future Power Markets Programme, including FASS, DASSA, DS3, market coupling, or long-duration storageStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityProficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and WordFamiliarity with PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies (advantageous but not essential)
