People First Credit Union is looking for a dynamic and motivated Youth Engagement Officerto be the voice of young people in our credit union which has offices in Portlaoise, Abbeyleix, Stradbally and Athy.
The Role Be the Voice of Youth This is a unique opportunity to build direct relationships with local schools, colleges, and youth organisations.
Your core responsibility will be to actively listen to young people's financial needs, challenges, and ideas.
You will then turn this essential feedback into clear, actionable recommendations that will directly inform our: Board of Directors (on strategic decisions).
Management Team (on new product and service development).

About the Credit Union PFCU is a community based credit union with offices serving the areas of Athy, Abbeyleix, Stradbally and Portlaoise.
With assets of over €166 million PFCU offers a broad range of financial services including Current Accounts, Mortgages, Savings and Loans etc.
We have 27 schools and a growing population within our common bond so youth is a key focus of the Strategy of PFCU.
What We're Looking For: A relevant third-level qualification in Business, Communications, Youth Work, or a related field.
Proven experience in community engagement, youth development, or market research.
Exceptional ability to build rapport with young adults and present findings clearly to senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills to turn feedback into strategic recommendations.
A valid driver's licence and access to transport are essential for local travel.
Reporting to the CEO.
