We are now hiring a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to head this expansion & join our senior management team.We are seeking a highly motivated person to bring our logistics and warehouse channel to the next level by delivering a personal touch, engaging & managing our current team. Planning & delegating to team leaders throughout the day while having a watchful eye on all activities throughout the warehouse & keeping in touch with our delivery drivers to ensure our last mile home deliveries are delivered with the upmost respect to our clients throughout the country.We would love to speak to you if you think you are the right candidate for this exciting role.What you will be doing;· Working alongside our senior management team, while strategically supporting, leading & delegating tasks to approximately 20 staff under you.· Full warehouse management from planning deliveries, staff delegation, to getting deliveries picked & packed for dispatch. (Digitally & physically)· Generating a smart more cost effective solution while keeping a great atmosphere in the workplace.· Maintaining a clean, safe & well-organised warehouse facility for our staff & stock.· Health and Safety are of upmost importance. Making sure that all handling and delivery activities are achieved with this in mind. Ensure that we are using best practices at all times.· Making sure our home delivery teams maintains a strong image for the brand during the delivery process.· Regular stock checks & stock takes while keeping the inventory level correct & consistent while identifying new ways of improving the process & maintaining the highest level of security at our warehouse.· Vehicle & driver management, RSA knowledge. Developing strategies to optimise the logistics process and reducing costs.· Monday – Friday, full time.
