Full-Time BIM Technician
We are seeking an experienced BIM professional with a strong background in coordinating and modelling MEP services, and who has a proven track record of working well within a team. Candidates will ideally have 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with 2-3 years of MEP BIM experience.
The successful candidate will join a team of highly experienced BIM engineers, technicians, and coordinators. CJK is rapidly expanding and branching into new sectors of the construction industry. This development means that the company is constantly searching for ambitious BIM professionals who can contribute their experience to the company’s BIM workflows and operating procedures. As the company expands, new opportunities will develop within CJK’s BIM team, making it an ideal place to advance a BIM professional’s career. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to lead CJK’s BIM efforts at Dublin Airport.
Responsibilities
* Produce MEP models from base information using the relevant BIM software – P&ID’s, scan of facility and point cloud data.
* Set up MEP BIM models in compliance with the company’s standard operating procedures.
* Develop MEP BIM models throughout construction to include GA drawings, plans and sections as required.
* Coordinate MEP models with the models of other trades.
* Work alongside the site team and engineers to complete and incorporate as-built mark-ups for handover of the Project Information Model (PIM).
* Assign asset information to models for handover of the Asset Information Model (AIM).
* Read, interpret, and understand the relationship between project-specific BIM documentation (e.g. BEP, TIDP, EIR, responsibility matrix, etc.).
* Understand the ISO 19650 delivery process and how CJK fits into the process on assigned projects.
* Investigate and develop more efficient ways of working through use of existing tools and automation.
* Other ad hoc duties as required to assist in the development of the company’s BIM offering.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a subject related to the construction industry.
* A recognised qualification in Building Information Modelling.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the engineering/construction industry.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in MEP BIM.
* Full, clean driver’s license.

* Experience in managing and administering a common data environment (CDE) such as Procore, Dalux, V4P, ACC, etc. – (beneficial but not essential)
