 
        Job Title: Inventory ClerkReports To: Warehouse ManagerNon-ExemptJob Overview: Employees primarily work in the warehouse and can be exposed to loud noise levels, vibration, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles. May be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions, hazardous physical substances, and fumes. Employees may interact with staff and public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities and Duties:· Inventory Management: You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This includes conducting regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory records in the system.· Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, comparing them to purchase orders or packing lists. This involves verifying quantities, checking for damage or defects, and updating inventory accordingly.· Accurately enter inventory data into the system, including item descriptions, part numbers, quantities, and location information. You will also maintain organized records of inventory transactions, such as receipts, transfers, and adjustments.· Organize and arrange inventory in a logical and efficient manner, ensuring items are stored in designated locations (by Owner Code). This may involve labeling shelves or bins, optimizing storage space, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.· Cycle Counts and Audits: You will conduct regular cycle counts and periodic inventory audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records. This helps identify any discrepancies, shrinkage, or variances that need to be addressed and reconciled.· Stock Check, collaborate with other teams, such as Shipping and Receiving and sales to ensure accurate inventory management. This includes updating the WMS and coordinating with them on stock availability, tracking inventory usage, and providing necessary information, pictures, cert and trace.· Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to inventory management, such as proper handling of hazardous materials, compliance with industry-specific regulations, and following established procedures for inventory control.· Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline inventory management processes, enhance accuracy, and optimize efficiency. This may involve suggesting system enhancements, automation opportunities, or proposing new procedures to enhance overall inventory control.· Other duties as assigned. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator or scanner. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to and heavier weights with the proper team lift or equipment.· Education & Experience- Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
