Working within a team, the Quality Control Officer will play a key role in upholding product standards and ensuring food safety compliance across all stages of production.Conduct quality inspections at all Quality Control Points within the process flow.Make informed decisions and take prompt action based on inspection outcomes.Complete Inspection Reports for both Suppliers and Customers as required.Communicate effectively with Supplier and Customer Technical/Quality Control representatives.Compile Grading Instructions for the Production team where necessary.Support and oversee Quality Management requirements throughout the production process.Carry out Shelf Life Analysis and maintain detailed records.Maintain and update HACCP Registers accurately.Perform in-house audits in line with QMS and HACCP protocols.Person specificationStrong written and verbal communication skills.A degree in Food Science or current enrollment in a related course.Individuals with a catering background often adapt well to this role and are encouraged to apply.A valid driver's license and the ability to drive would be an advantage.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingProfit sharingWork Location: In person
