Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager – IT Resourcing to join a growing ICT Services & Solutions team. This role is Primarily office-based, with flexibility for a hybrid arrangement subject to performance and agreement, and focuses on expanding IT resourcing services, including both permanent and contract recruitment solutions, across existing clients and new business opportunities.
You will play a key role in driving growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing onsite and contract resources, working closely with marketing and external sourcing partners.
Responsibilities
* Grow IT Resourcing Services: Expand both permanent and contract resourcing opportunities across existing clients, partners, and new business channels.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and alliance partners to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and service excellence.
* Business Development: Identify new opportunities through networking, lead generation campaigns, and market research; convert leads into measurable revenue.
* Tender & Proposal Management: Lead and coordinate responses to RFTs, RFQs, PQQs, and framework competitions, ensuring professional and timely submissions.
* Marketing Collaboration: Support marketing with content ideas, client testimonials, and promotional initiatives to increase brand visibility.
* Commercial Oversight: Manage pricing, invoicing, contract terms, and revenue streams, ensuring commercial viability and compliance.
* Service & Contractor Management: Act as key liaison between clients, sourcing partners, and placed resources; oversee candidate selection, onboarding, and performance.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor outcomes, gather feedback, and contribute to improving service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with internal teams, adhere to data protection and information security standards, and maintain professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, IT, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in ICT sales, recruitment, or business development with a proven record of success.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional networks with IT and HR decision-makers.
* Strong understanding of IT resourcing, recruitment frameworks, and client relationship management.
* Experience in tender responses or professional proposal writing.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Full, clean driving licence (Category B) required.
* Project management experience or qualifications are advantageous.
