Currently migrating from legacy on-premises systems to Microsoft Azure, the company is expanding its cloud-native application portfolio and is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to guide this journey.As Senior Enterprise Architect, you will have the autonomy to define architectural standards, reference models, and governance processes, while collaborating with multiple agile streams to ensure consistency and best practice. You will have the opportunity to join at an early stage, helping shape the architecture function and influence technical decisions across the organisation.In this position, you will guide the design of Azure-native solutions, from compute and data to integration and platform services, while mentoring teams on modern patterns, DevOps and Software practices, and cloud adoption.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of enterprise-wide architecture across applications, data, cloud, and infrastructure, embedding consistency and scalability.Collaborate with multiple agile project streams, ensuring teams adopt best practices and architectural principles as they deliver cloud-native solutions.Guide the organisation as it continues its migration from legacy on-premises systems to Azure, helping design modern, resilient, and secure cloud applications.Design and implement Azure solutions using:Containers / Orchestration: AKS, Azure Container RegistryDevOps / CI-CD: Azure DevOps Pipelines, ARM Templates, Terraform/BicepIdentity & Security: Azure AD, Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBACMonitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log AnalyticsConduct solution architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and design workshops to enable teams to adopt cloud-native patterns effectively.Partner with senior leadership to align the architectural roadmap with business strategy and growth plans, ensuring the CoE drives tangible outcomes for the organisation.Mentor and coach engineering teams, helping them embrace Azure best practices and modern development workflows across multiple workstreams.Required:10+ years' experience as an enterprise architect in fast-growing, agile organisations.Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services, with hands-on experience delivering modern cloud solutions.Proven experience leading organisations through on-prem to cloud migrations and building cloud-native applications.Skilled in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).Strong communicator and influencer, able to embed architectural best practices and guide teams across multiple projects.Experienced in creating or scaling architectural governance frameworks or Centres of Excellence.Essential: This position requires 5 days onsite per week in Dublin, candidates must also hold an EU passport or stamp 4 visa and currently be located in Ireland.Compensation: €120,000 - €140,000 DOEExcellent benefits package availableTo be considered, please send a copy of your CV to
