Job Summary
We are seeking a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our team in Cork City. This role involves managing and developing long-term customer relationships, working closely with customers to ensure they get the maximum value from our services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement
Engage proactively with customers throughout their interaction with us to provide an outstanding experience and high levels of satisfaction.
2. Trade Counter Support
Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to all customers at the trade counter.
3. Product Knowledge
Act as a knowledgeable point of contact on our products, offering continuous support to meet customer needs.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.
5. Issue Resolution
Address and resolve customer concerns efficiently, maintaining a customer-first approach.
6. Sales Processing
Accurately process all sales, returns, and transactions in line with current systems and procedures.
7. Store Presentation
Maintain high standards of housekeeping across all counter areas and customer-facing spaces.
8. Product Awareness
Stay informed about newly stocked items and product updates.
9. Health & Safety Compliance
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
10. Additional Duties
Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as reasonably required by management to support the business.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Plumbing products is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to task completion.
* Ability to learn and understand the range of our products and services.
* Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to develop productive relationships with external and internal customers.
* Fluency in English.
