We are partnering with aprivately owned, Irish-headquartered multinational groupoperating across multiple European jurisdictions to appoint aGroup Financial Controllerinto a key finance leadership role.The RoleReporting into the senior finance leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of group financial control, consolidation, compliance, and external reporting across a complex multi-entity structure.The role will suit an experienced accountant who enjoys operating at both a strategic and executional level, and who is comfortable acting as a technical authority within the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and production of senior management reportingOwn the year-end group audit process and preparation of consolidated statutory financial statementsAct as the technical accounting lead across the group, advising on complex accounting matters and IFRS interpretationsOversee financial governance, compliance, and control frameworks across multiple jurisdictionsPartner closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business to support performance and decision-makingCandidate ProfileQualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 10+ years post-qualification experienceStrong background in group reporting and consolidation within a multi-entity environmentDemonstrable experience leading audits and managing external stakeholders (auditors, banks, advisers)High level of technical accounting expertise (IFRS and statutory reporting)Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident operating at senior leadership levelThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join an international organisation, going through a transformation project.
