Overview: The Senior Chef plays a key role in the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all sections.

The Senior Chef supports our Head Chefs in managing the team, developing menus, and upholding the reputation of Fade Street Social for exceptional food and service.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and teamwork.
Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials, and kitchen innovation.
Manage stock levels, ordering, and minimise waste through effective cost control.
Support the Head Chef in managing prep schedules, service flow, and kitchen organisation.
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served on time, especially during busy service periods.
Requirements: Minimum of 45 years of experience in a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen, with at least 2 years in a senior position.
Strong technical skills with a thorough understanding of modern Irish and European cuisine.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Proven experience with HACCP and kitchen health and safety procedures.
