Job Title: Trainee Tyre Fitter Location: Sandyford Motors, Dublin 18 Department: Aftersales / Workshop Reporting To: Workshop Foreman / Service Manager Job Type: Full-time, Entry-Level Job Purpose: To support the workshop team by learning how to inspect, remove, repair, and fit tyres to vehicles in a professional and efficient manner.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in developing a technical career in the motor industry.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with tyre inspections and identifying wear or damage.
Learn how to remove and fit tyres to cars and light commercial vehicles.
Support wheel balancing and alignment processes under supervision.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Observe and follow health and safety regulations in the workshop.
Assist senior technicians and workshop staff as needed.
Participate in training provided by Sandyford Motors or external partners.
Carry out basic workshop housekeeping duties.
Key Skills & Attributes: A genuine interest in motor vehicles and hands-on mechanical work.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first attitude.
Good physical fitness and ability to lift or move tyres and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements: Leaving Certificate or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
No prior experience required full training will be provided.
Full driving licence (or working towards one) preferred.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
