A Key Role Ensuring Engineering Compliance and Operational Efficiency
The Role
Sofina Foods is seeking a detail-driven Engineering Admin & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This position is central to ensuring regulatory adherence, managing critical compliance processes, and supporting the engineering function through effective administration.
You’ll play an important role in coordinating compliance plans, reporting KPIs, planning preventive maintenance, and managing essential systems and audits. With your organisational skills and commitment to safety, you’ll help ensure our site remains compliant, efficient, and well-prepared for future demands.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage stores and spare parts processes
* Oversee contractor systems, audits, and permit control documentation
* Produce and maintain KPI reporting for engineering
* Administer the Shire System, including backlog control and feedback mechanisms
* Manage emails, liaising with suppliers and handling general enquiries and requests
* Plan and schedule preventive maintenance in conjunction with function heads
* Conduct internal fabrication audits
* Support the organisation and execution of the engineering compliance plan
* Maintain and update the library of technical, legal, and insurance compliance requirements
* Ensure compliance across areas including Legionella, PSSR, LOLER, Electrical, COSHH, PUWER, calibrations, validations, contractor control, and engineering procedures
* Ensure all equipment meets statutory and H&S standards, escalating concerns where necessary
