As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will drive the commercial mandate for the business, focusing on growth strategies to maximize value and deliver the project pipeline within business case parameters.
You will lead commercial development strategies for multi-technology renewable projects, manage deal acquisitions, oversee transaction completions, and secure equity investment approvals.
Securing suitable sites and negotiating land agreements with stakeholders will be key responsibilities.

What you'll be doing You will identify and evaluate potential land sites for wind, solar, and battery projects.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading business commercial activities and contributing to the leadership team in Ireland.Providing leadership to ensure projects are developed and delivered to maximize value, meet business case requirements, and follow governance processes.Securing Final Investment Decisions (FiD) by coordinating with stakeholders.Expanding relationships within EDF Group and externally to identify growth opportunities.Producing performance reports and updates for the Board and shareholders.Supporting strategy, budgeting, and business planning with senior management.Developing and coaching the business development and commercial team.Cultivating a safety-focused team culture.Functional / Technical Skills Managing business development activities, including acquisitions, disposals, and partnerships.Identifying market opportunities and optimizing revenue for renewable assets.Acting as Bid Manager and overseeing governance for auction processes.Evaluating financial investments and conducting cash-flow modeling.Producing techno-commercial appraisals for new technologies.Leading decision-making during project development stages.Ensuring project pipeline progression aligns with governance and policies.What do you need to be great at this role?
