NexVentur is hiring a Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor to join our clients' team, a leading M&E contractor in the West of Ireland. The successful candidate will drive safe, efficient, and timely delivery of mechanical works in the Industrial & Commercial sector, based in Co. Mayo ideally. Role and Responsibilities Supervise daily mechanical site operations. Lead, mentor, and co-ordinate mechanical teams onsite (plumbers, pipe fitters, sub-contractors), ensuring clear communication and accountability. Monitor site safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Plan, schedule, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project milestones. Conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements. Maintain accurate, up-to-date site documentation and reports for management. Collaborate with project managers, BIM co-ordinators, and the off-site prefabrication team to ensure smooth integration and delivery. Skills and requirements Qualified plumber or pipe-fitter with experience in industrial and/or commercial mechanical environments. Previous supervisory experience on-site within the construction, or mechanical sectors. Knowledge of Irish safety, environmental, and construction regulations; familiarity with ISO standards is a plus. Good communication and organisation skills. Skilled in planning, prioritising, and problem-solving under tight deadlines. Comfortable collaborating with BIM teams and open to integrating off-site prefabricated components.
