Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Primary Care Team in Clondalkin. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions to adults within the Primary Care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions to adults within the Primary Care setting.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to promote functional independence in activities of daily living.
* Provide intervention in areas such as self-care, mobility, housing adaptations, equipment prescription, and falls prevention.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Public Health Nurses, and GPs.
* Supervise and support junior staff, students, and Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring high standards of practice.
Requirements:
* Be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a relevant area such as Primary Care, Community, or Rehabilitation.
* Experience working in community therapy or similar discharge planning services.
* Strong rehabilitation planning skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues and service users.
