Deli Manager
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Deli Manager to join their team. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer care and managing the deli department efficiently.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner, providing an exceptional standard of customer care. They must ensure products are served to customers in line with Food Hygiene Requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Ensure products are served in line with Food Hygiene Requirements.
* Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
* Assist customers with queries regarding deli products.
Deli Management:
The Deli Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing policies and procedures pertaining to fresh food. This includes ensuring effective HACCP control systems are in place and regular cleaning of the deli area and equipment.
Stock Management:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective stock control systems, minimising wastage in the delicatessen area and identifying areas of stock leakage.
Finance:
The Deli Manager will be responsible for managing budgets for the delicatessen area and controlling overheads where appropriate.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, numerical abilities and the ability to work as part of a team.
