Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controller to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.
The initial focus of this position will be the supervision and coordination of design team activities, with particular emphasis on cost management, performance tracking, and reporting.
You will act as a key liaison between the design consultants and project stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent information flow across all project phases.
* Supervise and monitor design team activities to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
* Track and report on design team costs, including consultant fees, change requests, and budget variances.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports and cost summaries to project clients and stakeholders.
* Coordinate design deliverables with the project schedule and flag risks or delays proactively.
* Assist with procurement planning and contract management for design services.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, cost consultants, and client representatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree-qualified background in construction management, cost management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in project control, cost management, or project coordination, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
* A strong understanding of design processes and design team structures.
* Proven experience in cost monitoring, financial reporting, and budget analysis.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, project management software, and cost control tools (e.g. Aconex, Primavera).
