Overview
Clandillon Civil Consulting (CCC) is an Irish civil engineering consultancy that, through its work with many of Ireland’s biggest civil engineering contractors, has been involved in many of TII’s largest schemes, such as Luas Cross City, N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin and N8 Dunkettle Interchange.
CCC is looking to recruit a Clerk of Works for the Liffey Valley to City Centre Bus Connects scheme, which has recently been awarded to GMC. CCC will be responsible for the design and supervision of construction of the works as part of a joint venture with design partners ROD.
The project will start construction in January 2026 and will run for approximately the next 3 years. This opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to have a role on a major infrastructure project in Ireland, followed by potential positions on future projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting the Senior Designer’s Site Representative in their duties
* Carrying out daily site inspections and keeping of daily site diaries
* Raising and closing non-compliance reports
* Advising the designer of any design defects noted
* Ensure construction is carried out in accordance with the Works Requirements and Contract
* Liaise with the design team on any design related matters
* Collect information for the production of as-built drawings
Skills / Qualifications
* Relevant professional or trade qualification
* Min. 5 years of experience in construction site supervision roles
* Previous experience in working on linear infrastructure projects in an urban environment
