Ruminant Sales Manager
Key to success is identifying and seizing growth opportunities within the Wisconsin dairy and beef markets. We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Ruminant Sales Manager to spearhead the sales operations across central and southern Wisconsin, leading sales efforts throughout the region.
About the Role:
* Lead sales efforts focusing on dairy and beef producers.
* Develop and maintain direct relationships with farmers and key industry players.
* Drive revenue growth by expanding current accounts, meeting or exceeding targets, and consistently delivering tailored feed solutions to customers.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key growth market, develop your own sales pipeline, and shape our regional go-to-market strategy. You will cultivate direct relationships with producers and their nutrition consultants, presenting tailored feed solutions and educating them on the value proposition of our by-product-based feed solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver on-farm consultations and present feed solutions to customers.
2. Educate farmers on the benefits of our by-product-based feed solutions.
3. Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery and service excellence.
4. Represent the business at agricultural trade shows and local events, building brand awareness and trust among key stakeholders.
5. Provide insightful market intelligence to leadership, contributing to pricing and product strategy.
6. Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity in the Midwest feed market.
