Medical Administrator / Front of House Receptionist (Split Role)

We are seeking a professional, organised, and patient‑focused Medical Administrator to support both our clinical practice operations and Head Office front‑of‑house functions.
This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and can balance healthcare administration with corporate reception and facilities support.
Location: Centric Health Medical Practices (Dundrum / Churchtown/ Terenure/Sandyford / Stillorgan) & Support Office Intact House, Dundrum.
Contract: Fixed Term, Full‑Time (1 Year)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday = 37.5 hours weekly
Location base: Intact Building, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin D16FC92 & other locations within a short commute

Key Responsibilities
Centric Health Medical Practices & Front‑of‑house Support (Split Role)
Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and redirect incoming calls and manage queries efficiently.
Schedule and manage appointments and meeting bookings.
Maintain visitor logs and reception records in line with company policies.
Medical & Administrative Support
Maintain patient records (GMS and private) in line with data protection requirements.
Prepare repeat prescription requests for GP review.
Scan, file, and update electronic documentation accurately.
Handle payments, receipts, and end‑day reconciliations where required.
Support clinical teams and the HR team with administrative duties as needed.
Office, Facilities & Operations
Manage post, deliveries, stationery, office and kitchen supplies.
Act as main point of contact for facilities at RSA House.
Liaise with contractors and third‑party providers.
Support diary management, meetings, catering, travel bookings, and taxis.
Manage building access, car parking permits, and fire evacuation procedures (training provided).
Maintain key reception and facilities documentation.
Required Experience & Skills
2‑3 years' experience in administration, reception, healthcare, or facilities roles.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and office systems.
Professional, discreet, and confident dealing with people at all levels.
Flexible, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent spoken and written English.
