Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Partner Communications Consultant to join the Google Cloud Partner Learning Services team. In this role, you will shape and deliver communications strategies that support internal Googlers and external Google Cloud partners. You will play a key part in how learning initiatives are communicated, adopted, and valued across Google’s partner ecosystem.
This position is ideal for a strategic communicator with a strong Go-to-Market mindset, creative storytelling skills, and a proven ability to deliver clear, engaging communications under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute communications strategies that align with business and learning goals.
* Plan, write, edit, and deliver communications materials (emails, newsletters, web content, social media, reports, presentations).
* Create engaging social media content that resonates with Google Cloud partners.
* Provide UX and content design insights for digital assets and partner platforms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, learning design, product, enablement) to support campaigns and content launches.
* Act as a communications advisor — translating technical learning updates and data insights into compelling narratives.
* Track, analyze, and report on communications effectiveness (engagement, reach, partner feedback).
* Develop impactful presentations and visual storytelling materials for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
About the Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in communications, content, or marketing roles (experience in technology, education, or learning preferred).
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor tone and messaging for different audiences.
* Proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, and campaign execution.
* Strong understanding of UX principles, content structure, and digital communications best practices.
* Comfortable working across disciplines with designers, engineers, product managers, and marketers.
* Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects to deadline.
* Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Gmail); familiarity with design and visual tools (e.g. Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
