The Role Proofpoint is seeking a Product Support Engineer for our enterprise-level products.
Our team of Product Support Engineers are highly experienced in providing excellent customer support, engaging with customers through complex, system-level problem escalations/resolutions in a fast-paced environment.
The role is ideal for those passionate about engaging with customers and possessing an understanding of email administration and security, although broader experience in a customer-facing, technical environment will be considered.
Proofpoint offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package reflecting the 1pm to 10pm shift, including a shift allowance and other perks like company-wide wellbeing initiatives.
Product training is provided on our cybersecurity solutions.
Flexible interview appointments are available after 5pm.
We also offer a hybrid working environment.
Your day-to-day Support administrators & enterprise-level partners during 1pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday (hours may vary based on demand)Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, communicating with customers via phone, web tools, and emailManage product escalations, liaise between customers and tier support levelsAdvise customers on proper product use and address system issuesAssist with product configuration and features queriesMentor and guide junior team membersContribute to knowledgebase and support documentationWhat you bring Experience in technical support/helpdesk rolesProblem analysis and software resolution skillsAbility to become a subject matter expert in Proofpoint technologiesProfessional customer interaction skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environmentSelf-directed and collaborative work styleNice to have Experience with Email Systems, Networking, DNSLinux experienceInnovative, positive, proactive mindsetWhy Proofpoint Protecting people is at the core of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions.
