Site Manager, HV Projects
Location: Hybrid, Ireland
Scope of Work: A key role in a growing team that will lead all on-site activities of a project to assure cost‑effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start‑up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, maintenance phases.

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Site Manager to join a global leader in sustainable energy and power grid technologies in Ireland. You will lead all on‑site activities of a project to assure cost‑effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start‑up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, maintenance phases.
Key Responsibilities
Site planning of on‑site activities with the Project Manager, including local resources, equipment and milestones; coordinating agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
Site coordination and monitoring from receiving the assigned site area to handing over to the end customer on completion day; including coordination of all on‑site activities to ensure successful execution of start‑up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule and safety requirements.
Health, safety and environment (HSE) and project security, ensuring a detailed and up‑to‑date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place for each work package; ensuring all on‑site resources are properly trained; empowered to suspend any activities on site in case of OHS violation or any risk situation.
Ensuring correct material handling, storage and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on‑site storage and shipment logistics to secure timely delivery of equipment and material.
Managing the sub‑contractors on site to ensure necessary quality and progress to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
Ideal Profile
Microsoft Project basic level
At least 5 years’ experience in a Foreman/Chargehand role
Excellent communicator and manager of customer relations
Demonstrated negotiation skills in interactions with internal and external customers
Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects; self‑motivated and highly creative
