Senior Speech and Language Therapist Role Overview
Enable Ireland delivers children's services under the national Progressing Disabilities Services model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. As a Lead Agency within this model, Enable Ireland has responsibility for the delivery of services to children assigned to Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) within designated network areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language services, including assessment and intervention to children and adolescents enrolled on the CDNT.
Services will be provided across a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, preschools and special schools, children's homes and community settings.
Requirements:
• Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the Speech Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU.
Have three years full-time post qualification clinical experience.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of statutory registration on the Speech and Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
