Our client is a well-established Cork-based industrial electrical contractor delivering complex electrical and multi-disciplinary projects across industrial and commercial sectors. With a strong and long-term project pipeline, all based locally in Cork, the company continues to expand and is now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong electrical background to join its senior management team.

The Role
The Contracts Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple electrical contracts from pre-construction through to final account and handover. The role requires a strong electrical bias and proven experience managing large-scale electrical packages within industrial or complex construction environments.
You will work closely with directors, project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure contracts are delivered safely, profitably and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple electrical contracts from award through completion and final account
Oversee project managers, engineers, and site teams across live projects
Lead commercial, contractual, and programme performance of projects
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Review and manage contract documentation, variations, and risk
Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders
Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Support procurement strategies for electrical materials and subcontractors
Provide technical and commercial input during tender and pre-construction stages
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and team performance
Requirements
Electrical trade background or degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in electrical contracting or construction environments
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent role
Strong electrical technical knowledge (LV/MV, power distribution, industrial installations)
Solid commercial and contractual understanding
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of Irish construction and electrical standards
