Role PurposeThe Regional EHS Manager leads and oversees Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) operations across multiple large-scale projects and business units, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, corporate policies, and client requirements.Reporting to the Senior EHS Manager, this role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to EHS Leads, Senior EHS Advisors, and EHS Advisors. The position is key to embedding risk management, compliance strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and driving a strong safety culture across multiple teams and locations. Travel between project sites may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesEHS Leadership & ComplianceProvide strategic oversight for EHS operations across projects and business units.Lead and mentor EHS teams to ensure consistent application of standards and policies.Drive safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.Ensure compliance with Safety Statements, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.Act as escalation point for high-risk safety issues.Audits, Inspections & Risk ManagementLead EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.Oversee incident reporting and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Drive continuous improvement in hazard identification and risk mitigation.Monitor contractor safety compliance and performance.EHS Documentation & ReportingOversee development and implementation of EHS Plans, Inductions, and RAMS.Ensure compliance of site safety files.Review and analyse KPI reports and compliance metrics.Promote consistent reporting and data-driven decision-making.Stakeholder & Contractor ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and authorities.Provide senior guidance on risk mitigation and safety strategy.Support proactive safety engagement initiatives.Training & Emergency PreparednessIdentify training needs and oversee EHS training delivery.Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing.Ensure emergency preparedness measures are in place and effective.Lead post-incident reviews and improvement actions.RequirementsDegree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (professional certification desirable).5+ years' experience in EHS management within engineering or construction environments (pharmaceutical, data centres, substations etc)Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.Proven leadership experience across multiple sites.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in EHS systems and reporting tools.Willingness to travel as required.
