This role exists to support the management of an effective and high-quality cleaning operation at the client site.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Cleaning Services Manager, you will support a team of over 65 people, including weekend, cover, and relief staff. Your responsibilities include delegating tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring the delivery of KPIs, SLAs, and service desk requirements as outlined in the contract.
You will assist the site Cleaning Services Manager in managing the service within the allocated budget, covering labor, cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables.
You will ensure all staff receive necessary training, including company and client inductions.
You will be responsible for completing weekly rosters and accurately recording attendance within the system, in line with the budget.
Handling recruitment, staff and performance management, including disciplinary procedures.
Responding to daily emails and delegating tasks appropriately.
Liaising with the facilities and engineering teams to resolve issues promptly.
Ensuring health and safety measures are followed to maintain a safe working environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
Developing a productive, customer-focused workforce.
Building and maintaining client relationships onsite and developing retention strategies.
Providing monthly activity, progress, and issue reports to the onsite Cleaning Services Manager.
Weekly Cleaning Audits: Conducting audits with the client to ensure standards are met and addressing any issues.
Evening Site Visits: Performing regular visits to monitor operations, safety compliance, and site conditions.
Contractor Oversight: Monitoring external contractors' performance to ensure quality and compliance.
Access & Permits: Arranging site access and permits for contractors, ensuring security protocols are followed.
Employee & Contractor Access: Processing access requests with proper authorization.
Staff Cover: Organizing cover for absent staff to ensure smooth operations.
Team Meetings: Holding weekly meetings with supervisors and monthly meetings with the full team to review performance and updates.
OTHER DUTIES
Participating in ongoing training provided by Samsic Facility.
Maintaining awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
Representing Samsic Facility professionally at all times.
Adhering to data protection policies regarding data safety and storage.
