We are seeking a professional and experienced Personal Driver to provide safe, discreet, and reliable transport services for a private household. The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a high level of personal responsibility & flexibility.
This is a part-time (25-hour week) position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends (to be discussed at interview).
Key Requirements
* Full, clean Irish driving licence & EU passport (essential)
* Minimum of 10 years' verifiable work history with references
* Mature, responsible, and well-presented at all times
* Have a good level of fitness, as the role includes assisting with luggage and duties.
* Excellent knowledge of local routes, traffic conditions, and navigation systems.
* Proven record of punctuality, safety, and discretion
Responsibilities
* Provide safe, punctual, and confidential transport for the employer and authorised passengers
* Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, inside and out
* Oversee vehicle servicing, fuelling, NCT and maintenance schedules
* Maintain accurate records of mileage, servicing, and fuel usage
* Plan routes and monitor traffic to ensure timely arrivals
* Carry out errands and collections when required
* Present a professional appearance at all times and conduct themselves in a polite, respectful, and discreet manner
* Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Desirable Attributes
* Previous experience as a personal or executive driver
* Polite, calm, and courteous under pressure
* Trustworthy, with strong attention to detail and respect for privacy
* Military background is an advantage
