The Job:
Our client seeks a seasoned procurement expert to join their Supply Chain Team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing international sourcing, purchasing, and logistics.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business requirements.
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely vendor delivery.
* Maintaining accurate records of open orders and expediting shipments as needed.
* Managing complex timelines and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
* Providing input on costings for new projects and assisting with last-time-buy calculations.
* Ensuring fulfillment of sample and demo hardware requirements.
* Processing RMAs in Oracle and coordinating urgent shipments outside of the system.
* Retaining proof of delivery for all terminal shipments.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in purchasing or buyer roles.
* Strong systems knowledge, preferably in Oracle.
* Proficiency in computer packages and technical applications.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
