Working on large-scale innovative projects you will play an integral role in shaping designs ensuring product compatibility for our customers.As a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:Reviewing designs, specifications, customizations and customer requirements to ensure product compatibilityOverseeing preparation of drawings, technical documents and manufacturing records for orders to ensure compliance with customer expectations and internal documentation systemSupporting internal cross-functional teams to deliver design reports and proposals and to manage the execution of projectsBuilding relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure smooth, continuous execution of ordersReviewing and maintaining project plans and progress to ensure projects are successfully delivered on-time and in budgetFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any other related course.Have at least 5 years of experience as a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer, with EPC experience.Have strong technical experience gained in an energy, oil, and gas or similar environmentHave demonstrated proficient computer skills and be familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar 3D modelling packagesHave displayed the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing process planningHave excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environmentHave demonstrated good analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work on own initiativeHave demonstrated significant knowledge of project management concepts and techniquesFacilitate and drive growth and process development within the global Project Engineering teamHave demonstrated significant knowledge of project management concepts and techniquesHave the ability to travel internationally to customer sites (up to 10% travel required)Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
