FLI Precast Solutions is recruiting for a Maintenance Fabricator to join our busy Facilities and Maintenance team. The role reports to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager and is a permanent, full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Completion of welding and steel fabrication work.
2. Repair and maintenance of equipment and plant.
3. Complete fabrication end-to-end.
4. Provide mechanical maintenance support for manufacturing processes and utility systems.
5. Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance routines.
6. Coordinate project work and planned shutdowns as necessary.
7. Support the production team in achieving targets.
8. Follow all health and safety rules and regulations on site.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Essential ability to MIG and ARC weld.
2. Knowledge of steel fabrication and ability to perform iron works.
3. Ability to operate a range of tools and machinery.
4. Ability to read detailed drawings.
5. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Keen attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
1. Trade qualification is essential.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
3. Maintenance background is advantageous.
4. Experience in industrial fabrication is an advantage.
