Overview
Production & Process Improvement Engineer: Opportunity for an experienced engineer to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Optimise plant performance: yields, line speeds, material use, and changeovers.
* Lead cross-functional problem-solving with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
* Support process modifications and capital projects, from specification to commissioning.
* Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and risk assessments.
* Promote Lean/CI tools (5S, SMED, SPC, FMECA, etc.) and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
* Manage training, KPIs, and continuous improvement projects.
* Support R&D tasks and trials in collaboration with international teams.
Requirements
* Degree in Process, Mechanical, or related Engineering (5+ years' manufacturing experience).
* Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Quality Systems.
* Experience with automated/mechatronic production lines.
* Skilled in project management, problem-solving, and risk assessment.
* Six Sigma Black Belt / Lean Master an advantage.
* Proficient in MS Office & presentations.
