Job Details: Our client is seeking an System Administrator - Microsoft 365 to support enterprise environments by managing IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity services.
The role sits within a wider ICT Support and Infrastructure team and focuses on hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 services in a large, structured environment.
This is a long-term contract role, working on-site in a central city location within a complex ICT estate.
The System Administrator - Microsoft 365 2 will be responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 and endpoint management services, with a strong emphasis on Intune, security, automation, and stakeholder engagement.
Required: 3+ years experience administering Microsoft 365 environments Strong hands-on experience with Intune, Exchange Online, Share Point Online, Teams, and MDM Proven experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features Experience with data migration and integration projects Windows 11 rollout experience Working knowledge of Active Directory and networking fundamentals Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900, Microsoft 365 Certified) Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Exchange Online, Share Point Online, and Teams Own and manage the Intune environment and associated servies (Entra ID, Microsoft 365) Design, plan, and implement Intune features and enhancements Manage endpoints across multiple platforms (Windows, i OS, Android, etc.) Develop and maintain MDM/MAM policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments Manage endpoint security configurations (Bit Locker, LAPS, Autopatch, Antivirus, Security Baselines, Compliance policies) in collaboration with a security team Create and maintain Power Shell automation and remediation scripts Support and maintain Windows Autopilot deployments Produce reports on patching, compliance, and security posture Monitor Microsoft 365 performance and service health Manage users, groups, permissions, and licences Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues and engage vendor support where required Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication Plan and coordinate endpoint and M365 deployments and rollouts Provide guidance and training to end users and support teams Maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures Support ongoing rollout and administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager Skills: Microsoft 365 Intune ICT Support Share Point
