We are seeking a motivated Junior Sign Maker / Production Assistant to join our print production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate work.
About the Role:
1. This is a hands-on, entry-level position that involves assisting in the production of signs, graphics, and printed materials.
2. You will operate and assist with print and finishing equipment (training provided).
3. You will carry out tasks such as vinyl cutting, weeding, laminating, mounting, trimming, digital printing and finishing under supervision.
4. You will also assist with on-site signage installations including preparation loading setup checking finished installed work for accuracy quality presentation preparing materials tools jobs delivery installation maintaining clean organised safe workspace supporting senior sign makers production staff as required skills attributes strong attention detail pride quality willing learn new skills follow instructions good manual dexterity practical hands approach ability work independently part team good time management reliability positive attitude strong work ethic desirable interest signage print or hands-on production experience workshop trade installation environment comfortable working site different locations basic computer skills handling job files notes
