About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive business growth across Ireland. Based in the Greater Dublin Region, this role covers a nationwide sales territory and requires extensive travel (50–60% of the time) to engage with customers, promote products, and represent the company at key events.
While prior automotive experience is not essential, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business development, sales leadership, and customer engagement, with the ability to build relationships and deliver growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement nationwide sales strategies to achieve growth objectives.
* Conduct regular customer visits throughout Ireland to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
* Lead driving promotions and product campaigns to enhance market share.
* Execute product promotion initiatives across multiple channels.
* Manage and prepare tenders and proposals, ensuring competitiveness.
* Enhance the company's online presence in collaboration with central marketing.
* Act as a liaison with central marketing to align brand and sales activities.
* Contribute to new product development by providing customer and market insights.
* Monitor sales performance, competitor activity, and industry trends.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in sales leadership and business development.
* Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Experience in tenders, product promotion, and campaign management.
* Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with CRM and sales management tools (e.g., Monday, Salesforce) is a strong advantage.
* Strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach.
* Comfortable with extensive nationwide travel (50–60%).
* Automotive experience is an advantage but not required.
