We are seeking a motivated and proactive Base Engineering Graduate to join our Base Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience across multiple aircraft systems and contribute to maintaining our high standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities:
As a Base Engineering Graduate, you will:
* Support technical requests across Structures, Avionics, Powerplant, and Airframe systems for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
* Maintain accurate and high-standard records of engineering activities.
* Conduct aircraft damage assessments and propose appropriate repair solutions.
* Liaise with OEMs to resolve aircraft-related issues.
* Evaluate and report on mandatory maintenance requirements, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs) from EASA and FAA.
* Collaborate with customers to identify optimal repair solutions.
* Assist in engineering support for aircraft tooling and calibration processes.
* Contribute to Quality Assurance initiatives and competency development.
* Support the development of new capabilities within the department.
* Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a Level 7+ Engineering qualification (Aeronautical Engineering preferred), graduated between 2021–2025.
* Can interpret technical and airworthiness data effectively.
* Understands relevant airworthiness legislation.
* Is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrates solid IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Has a commercial mindset and understands business objectives.
* Possesses project management skills and can work within teams.
* Has experience in an aircraft maintenance environment (desirable but not essential).
