We are undertaking a major digital transformation, modernising how customers experience Dunnes Stores across ecommerce, mobile apps, loyalty and in‑store digital platforms.
We are hiring a Head of Digital Product & Strategy to lead the teams responsible for defining and delivering these digital products.
This is a product leadership role focused on outcomes. You will define the product roadmap across key digital platforms and ensure initiatives translate into products that customers use and that deliver measurable commercial impact.
The Role
Working closely with the Chief Digital Officer and senior leadership team, you will shape and deliver the digital product roadmap across Dunnes Stores’ digital platforms.
You will lead product teams responsible for ecommerce, mobile apps, loyalty and emerging digital experiences, ensuring that strategy becomes clear priorities, shipped products and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the digital product roadmap across ecommerce, mobile apps, loyalty and emerging digital experiences
Translate strategic priorities into clear, prioritised product initiatives with defined outcomes
Ensure product investments align with customer value and commercial impact
Product Delivery
Partner closely with engineering, design and data teams to deliver digital products to a high standard
Establish strong product delivery practices including backlog management, sprint planning and product reviews
Maintain a clear focus on shipping products and delivering measurable outcomes
Customer & Commercial Impact
Drive improvements in conversion, retention, NPS and digital revenue performance
Use product analytics, customer insight and experimentation to improve digital experiences
Build business cases that link product initiatives to clear commercial outcomes
Lead and mentor a cross‑functional product team including Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts
Build strong product management capability through coaching and mentorship
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, trading, operations, IT, data and finance teams
Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on progress, priorities and delivery timelines
What We’re Looking For
10+ years experience in product management delivering digital products
A track record of owning product roadmaps and shipping customer‑facing digital platforms
Strong experience working with engineering teams in agile development environments
Experience leading multidisciplinary product teams
Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect product initiatives to business outcomes
Experience in retail, ecommerce, marketplaces, fintech, travel or other consumer digital platforms would be particularly relevant.
