**Job Title:** Pizza Cook
**Job Type:** Part-time 2-3 Days per week. 10+ hour shifts
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team at the bustling shopping center. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers enjoy delicious, high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently will be essential in delivering a positive dining experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Pizza Preparation:** Prepare and assemble a variety of pizza recipes according to our standardized procedures, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
2. **Quality Control:** Maintain high standards of food quality and ensure all pizzas meet our establishment's standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
3. **Timely Service:** Work efficiently to meet customer demands during peak hours, ensuring that orders are prepared and served promptly.
4. **Ingredient Management:** Manage pizza ingredients, including monitoring freshness, portion control, and inventory levels. Report any shortages or spoilage to the management team.
5. **Cleanliness and Sanitation:** Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards, including the proper handling of ingredients, cooking equipment, and work areas.
6. **Equipment Maintenance:** Operate and maintain pizza ovens.
7. **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other staff ensure a smooth flow of orders and effective communication within the team.
8. **Customer Service:** Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about our pizzas and accommodating special requests when possible.
9. **Menu Knowledge:** Stay informed about our pizza offerings, including seasonal specials, and be able to recommend menu items to customers.
10. **Clean-Up:** Perform end-of-shift cleaning and sanitization tasks, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and disposing of waste in an organized manner.
**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
* Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough stretching, sauce application, and toppings placement.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
