Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Global Advisory Firm who specialise in providing Insurance Accounting Services Globally to hire a Senior on a permanent basis to their Dublin office.Key Responsibilities:Managing compliance assignments for multi nationals including centralised statutory accounting and compliance projectsSupporting internal finance teams and financial operationsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on assignmentsProviding practical accounting advice to clients on a variety of issuesAdvice on accounting requirements under IFRS and Irish & UK GAAPEnsuring quality and timely service is delivered to clientsQualifications & Experience Required:Minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in dealing with accounting issues ideally in the Insurance industryDetailed knowledge of financial reporting including practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statementsAwareness of current topics in insurance and challenges facing the insurance industryGood communicator, highly articulate with excellent report writing skillsProject experience in the insurance industry is desirable e.g IFRS17Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of the latest developments in financial reportingStrong knowledge of IFRS, Irish or UK GAAP and Irish or UK company lawIf you feel you have the experience and are interested in finding out more please submit a CV through LinkedIn or to cfinnerty@lemeas.ie
