Paediatric Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to children with developmental, sensory, physical, and emotional needs.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's functional skills, including fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
* Create individualised intervention plans that support participation and independence in daily activities, focusing on education, training, and strategies for carryover in natural environments.
* Deliver clinic-based sessions, school visits, home visits, and group programmes tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
* Liaise with families, teachers, SNAs, and community professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Public Health Nurses as part of a Primary Care multidisciplinary team.
* Provide education, training, and strategies to support parents, teachers, and other caregivers in promoting the development of children with special needs.
* Attend case conferences and contribute to Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
* Lead service planning and development initiatives improving access, quality, and outcomes for paediatric clients.
