Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and execute projects to meet client expectations and timelines while ensuring deliverables are completed as expected.
* Oversee the end-to-end project delivery process, ensuring the project stays on track within budget, meets quality standards, and is delivered on time.
* Effectively allocate tasks to project team members, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
* Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and proactively manage them to avoid project delays.
* Lead and participate in project teams, coordinating the implementation of project deliverables and ensuring smooth collaboration across departments.
* Develop essential project documentation such as Project Plans, Status Reports, Risk Logs, etc., ensuring all project activities are tracked and communicated effectively.
* Assist in monitoring and supporting the delivery of development tasks, ensuring high-quality technical implementation aligns with client requirements.
* Work closely with the delivery team to guide and advise on technical design and implementation, ensuring adherence to client requirements.
* Ensure good design principles and technical quality standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide regular progress reports to management, offering insights into project status, resource management, risks, and mitigation strategies.
* Effectively manage changes in the project scope, ensuring smooth adaptation and alignment with the client's evolving needs.
* Manage the handover of the project to the customer or support teams, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
* Provide line management support to junior members of the Engagement Manager team, mentoring and coaching them in project management best practices.
* Lead internal initiatives to improve the methodology of Salesforce implementation, promoting the development of best practices across the team.
Requirements
* A minimum of three years of experience in managing IT projects, particularly within Salesforce or similar technology-driven environments.
* Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, etc.), with significant experience applying these in diverse business settings.
* Proven technical knowledge in areas relevant to Salesforce and technology project delivery.
* Experience working with Salesforce and a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
* Solid experience with Agile methodologies (particularly SCRUM) and managing teams in an Agile environment.
* A recognised Project Management qualification (such as PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred but not required.
* Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its application in project delivery.
