A challenging new position has opened with an established OSD plant in Dublin. This organisation is known for producing high-quality medicines through a truly global network of manufacturing sites. This new opportunity requires a skilled and proactive Process Engineer to support their operation in North Dublin. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring process excellence by leading investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and maintaining GMP-compliant documentation.
The Position
This position will work as part of the Process Engineering team under the direction of the Head of Operations.
* Lead and execute thorough investigations into process deviations and non-conformances.
* Develop, implement, and track effective CAPAs in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Review and update manufacturing and quality documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols.
* Support regulatory audits and internal quality reviews.
* Monitor process performance and identify areas for efficiency, compliance, or quality improvement.
The Person
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of investigation methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
* Experience writing CAPAs and updating controlled documentation in compliance with GMP.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible approach to work and a positive attitude will be a good fit with the team dynamic.
