Job Title: Operations Manager
The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hotel operations professional.
As the hotel operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations with a particular focus on food and beverage related areas. You will work closely with the general manager to ensure seamless operation and alignment with the overall goals and standards of the hotel.
In this role, you will:
* Be customer-focused and hands-on, with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate your team to deliver the best possible outcomes for guests and the business.
* Have 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management, with a proven track record of success.
* Be flexible to work weekends and possess the ability to come up with solutions.
* Ensure that all cash handling procedures are comprehensive and practical in their operation, thus reducing errors, shortages and the potential for theft.
* Compile weekly/monthly financial reports, giving details of revenue, covers and staff productivity in each of the departments.
* Control all stock food and beverage, driving for results and operational standards.
* Deal with suppliers/vendors for quality products, inspecting all departments with their respective managers for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
* Work with our sales & events manager to prepare a sales plan for the F&B, C&B outlets, with a particular emphasis on the local market.
* Plan well for the future business and make sound decisions, ensuring health & safety is always on the agenda.
* Assess and review customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
* Identify staff learning needs and assist with development, providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required.
* Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organisation.
