Michael's House are recruiting experienced Social Care Workers for a community residential service for three young people with intellectual disability and autism.
St.
Michael's House is a community based organisation committed to providing a quality person centred service and high standard of living to people with an intellectual disability in the greater Dublin area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a skilled and responsive staff team to deliver a high quality service for three young people.
They will utilise their knowledge and experience of positive behaviour support to follow and implement individual support plans and strategies to manage behaviours of concern
Working closely with the Social Care Leader, multi disciplinary team and families, the key task is to provide positive behaviour and person centred supports to ensure that each individual is leading their best lives.
This role requires a positive, enthusiastic experienced Social Care Worker who has a passion for supporting those with high support needs.
Essential Criteria for Applicants Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability and autism Have experience of working on their own initiative as well as part of a team Experience implementing positive behaviour support plans Experience with implementation of risk assessments and positive risk taking Have experience implementing person centred planning Have experience in a key working role Knowledge and application of HIQA standards Excellent communication skills Excellent report writing skills A full clean driver's licence and be willing to drive as part of your role.
