Overview
Opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Life Science team in Dublin, working nights from Monday to Thursday.
Reporting to the RBSM, the SBSM is responsible for delivering Building Services Systems across designated large and/or multiple smaller projects that are on time, on budget, and meet the company's Zero objectives of Safety, Quality, and Energy. Equally important is the necessity to guide and lead the team effectively.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of HSE practices and promote a positive safety culture by leading by example.
* Proficient in Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures.
* Assist in preparing, reviewing, and approving method statements and permits for Electrical and other relevant contractors.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of Electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
* Track and document on-site activities, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
* Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs).
* Lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standards.
* Manage the closeout of punch list items to ensure project and system completion.
* Review and approve turnover documentation, ensuring it meets project and client requirements.
* Coordinate and witness commissioning activities.
* Attend and actively participate in meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.
* Provide updates, address concerns, and collaborate with the project team and stakeholders.
Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision.
