Applications are invited for the following position:
SOCIAL CARE MANAGER GRADE 3 (AREA MANAGER)
Permanent Contract
39 hours per week
LOCATION: LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES
* Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
* Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
* Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
* Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
* Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards
* Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
* Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability
* Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
* Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis. These visits will take place outside the normal 9 – 5 time frame.
* Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year
