Exciting Career Opportunity: Full-Time Permanent Position in Social Care
We are seeking experienced professionals to join a dynamic team of social and care staff in supporting adults towards independent living and community integration.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care, as well as 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Support individuals with physical/intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment
* Work across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide, offering unique person-centred care that transforms lives
Requirements:
* Hold a full, clean manual driver's license and availability of own car for this post
* An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
* An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported
* Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
* Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
