Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of carers, ensuring efficient and effective on-boarding, rosters, training/development, and overall welfare.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage carer on-boarding, rosters, training/development, and overall welfare with support from Regional Manager and Platinum Support Office
* Deliver 20-hour Carer Induction Training to prepare carers for providing care to clients
* Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, emphasizing safeguarding and compliance
* Take action as required and escalate when necessary
* Communicate closely with Support Office regarding scheduling runs, client care, and HSE communication
* Identify, monitor, and manage training needs within the team by implementing a career development path in line with HR strategy
* Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are carried out and recorded according to Platinum Homecare and HSE standards
Requirements
* QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
* 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
* Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Well organised and process driven
